Why sponsor us?
Rocky Mountain Robotics requires a significant amount of money to operate. As we are high school students with often very empty pockets, sponsorship is very greatly appreciated. The robot kit that we use every year and registration for the regional competition constitute $6,000. We are trying to raise $30,000 dollars for this year's regional and national competitions. Supplies, equipment, uniforms, and assorted competition expenses add up quickly with over fifty students each year.
Another incentive is that of exposure. All sponsors' names and/or logos appear both on the website and on our T-shirts. This offers effective "advertising" at competitions and also at other venues.
How can I help on a non-monetary basis?
About half of our leadership team is made up of mentors from various companies in the community. If you'd like to help us by investing your time in the region's future, we would love to have you! Please contact us and we'll get right back to you. You can also read more about our leadership.
Who else has sponsored us?
Many Fortune 500 companies have significantly helped FIRST grow throughout the years and are committed to its continued progress. Some of the sponsors who have graciously donated funds to our local team 662 include Academy School District 20, Boeing, LSI Logic, Quantum Corporation, and SAIC. Our sponsors last year also included AFCEA, Chipotle, and Papa John's. This year our sponsors include Broadmoor Entertainment and Verizon Wireless.
